Despite the fact that Illinois is one of the most populated states of all, you will find that it still has so much to offer. You wont run out of things to do, whether you are visiting or you stay here. There are activities that you can do both in the indoors and outdoors so you can be sure that you will have your hands full. Whatever it is you seek, you will surely find it here.

If you enjoy the outdoors then you will surely love that Illinois offers fishing and hunting expeditions. If you don’t fancy tracking down deer or turkeys you can always enjoy a pleasant walk at one of the parks. Be more adventurous and try going through a forest instead.

You may prefer to be indoors and that is perfectly fine since Illinois has an array of museums and historic sites which you can visit. Your kids can have fun too if you are taking them with you. A trip to the indoor water park or zoo will certainly make this a memorable experience for them. You may have a penchant for shopping just as most people do, satisfy your craving in one of the shopping complexes.

A trip to Illinois wouldn’t be the same without going to the festivals either. In winter and fall alone there are about 100 festivals that you can go to. These will include craft fairs and festivals as well. This is a great opportunity for you to get a real taste of Illinois and even take home something that has been made here with love.

You may already live in Illinois or be nearby. This gives you the perfect opportunity to be more than just a visitor to the craft shows and fairs. You can actually be a part of it and make money with the things that you craft while enjoying as well.
